Correctional Chaplaincy
I have been greatly blessed to be involved with prison ministry for the last 18 years and counting, and as a chaplain for Prison Ministry of America (PMA), for the last 3 years. I regularly minister at the California Institute for Women – Chino (CIW), Los Angeles County Central Men’s Jail and, Centinela State Prison. I have participated in annual prison tours with PMA to Northern California, Texas and the East Coast for several years. As a member at Calvary Chapel South Bay for 24 years, I’ve been given opportunities to be active in the men’s leadership team and to serve as a member of the Communion Board, and many other areas of service, such as ushering, foyer duty, the prayer team, etc. I received a certificate in Pastoral Ministry at Calvary Chapel Bible Ministry School - La Mirada, in 2006, and currently I am working towards a degree in Psychology at Fullerton College. I retired from AT&T as a splicer technician in 2009, after 31 years of service.
1 Timothy 1:12 – I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because he counted me faithful putting me into the ministry.
Prison Ministry of America (PMA) is a ministry of compassion with a focus on outreach to our community, evangelism and discipleship to the poor in spirit and those experiencing incarceration.
