Kevin Bradburn

Police Chaplain

Kevin Bradburn began his Law Enforcement career in October of 1989 and graduated in February of 1990 from the San Diego Sherriff’s Department Academy. Kevin lateraled to the Long Beach Police Department in February of 1993 were he is currently employed.

While with the Long Beach Police Department Kevin worked as a Patrol Officer and as a Detective with the Vice Detail, Internal Affairs, Financial Crimes and currently the Violent Crimes Detail. Kevin also was a Self Defense Instructor and a S.W.A.T Hostage Negotiator.

Kevin had attended Calvary Chapel Downey from a young age and was involved in various ministries. In April of 2011, Kevin completed a Chaplaincy class with Calvary Chapel Bible College. Kevin was ordained through Calvary Chapel Downey and became a Police Chaplain with the Long Beach Police Department in April of 2011.

For a two year period Kevin attended Veritas Calvary Chapel, were he was an Assistant Pastor, and is now at Calvary Chapel Downey were he serves at the Pastor’s Information Desk and assists with the Shields of Faith Ministry. In 2011 Kevin was asked to take, and accepted, a position as a board member with Prison Ministries of America.
