VISION

To inform local churches and chaplains that we are available to train and help ministries; to come alongside them in their efforts to reach and minister to the incarcerated, cutting into the discouraging facts of recidivism when an individual’s life is changed through the gospel.

Also, to assist those released in attaining productive lives through discipleship and recovery homes, allowing critical time needed for growth knowing Satan’s strategy is to station his forces at the exits of our jails, prisons and juvenile halls.

The heart, purpose and vision of Prison Ministry of America is to continue to bring the message of abundant life through faith in Jesus Christ to citizens in their lowest hour…their time of greatest spiritual need.

Mission Statement

Prison Ministry of America (PMA) is an non-profit organization – A Faith Ministry Providing Chaplains for Law Enforcement, Jails and Prisons.

This organization is designed to bring hope and restoration through literature, prayer, and spiritual counseling to those who have experienced incarceration.

• We provide trained Chaplains and volunteer workers to prisons, jails and juvenile placement facilities.
• We provide Bible and literature distribution to individuals who are currently incarcerated, and their families.
• We conduct Bible studies, biblical advice and worship services at various prison and jail facilities; and youth activities at juvenile placement facilities.
• We operate two residential recovery homes in Southern California, dedicated to restoration through discipleship and regeneration of God’s Word
• We have a long-standing history of service to the criminal justice system and have served in prison facilities all over the world, with jail Chaplaincy contracts in San Bernardino County, Kern County and Los Angeles County Jails; as well as the Los Angeles County Youth and Women’s Placement Facilities. We’ve served all of the juvenile and camp facilities at one time or another.
